Integrate2015-640x336 I first attended APIWorld in Fall of 2014, almost 2 quarters before we officially launched our RingCentral Connect Platform. During that conference, I was impressed by the depth and insightfulness of the talks delivered. APIs and integrations are often mysterious and esoteric to many business operators, and the 2014 event made it much less so. I told myself: when RingCentral gets its program going, we’re coming back.

That’s why I am excited to announce that RingCentral is a partner sponsor at Integrate 2015. We will be giving talks about how Connect Platform has been leveraged by numerous software developers to create a better customer experience, how you can do the same yourself and more, and we will run our second public hackathon and award giveaway!

How Integrations Drives Exceptional Customer Experience

With almost a year under our belt, the RingCentral team has seen many interesting and inventive use of our Connect Platform. Whether they were built by ISV partners or developers, many of the integrations our developer ecosystem built were aimed at improving customer experiences. This was especially true for customer developers who moved their business into the cloud and struggled to ensure critical apps worked together to deliver – not hinder – exceptional experiences to their end customers. I thought it’d be fun and educational to share what we’ve learned in a 30 minute talk.

Learn How to Build on RingCentral

If you’re a developer and curious about what you can build using our Connect Platform, we will be running a series of workshops to do just that. John Wang, our Director of Platform Products, will walk participants through how quickly and easily any developer can build a standard CTI (computer-telephony integration) with our APIs and SDKs.

Hack RingCentral and Win

We are also sponsoring our 2nd public hackathon! RingCentral is offering $7,500 in cash prizes, which will be awarded to the top 3 teams as determined by our panel of judges. We’re looking for teams that build the most innovative integration or app using RingCentral’s voice, SMS, or data APIs. Mobile apps or customer experience projects receive extra credits.
