We’re excited to introduce the newest feature in the RingCentral Office communications suite: RingCentral Meetings!
Meetings is available now to new Office Enterprise customers in the US. Already have an Office Enterprise account? You will receive access to Meetings in our next platform update, which is rolling out now. (Check your platform status by logging in to your account and clicking the Tools tab – there will be a “Meetings App” option if you’re up to date.)
What can Meetings do for your business? Here are its top five features:
- HD Video From Anywhere
Use meetings on your smartphone or tablet to connect with colleagues, clients or partners no matter where you are. The RingCentral mobile apps already make it easy to call or voice-conference with your business contacts – now, with Meetings, you can see them live and in color.
- Simple File Sharing
Meetings integrates with Box, Dropbox and your device’s internet browser, so you can share files or URLs in a snap.
- Participant Chat
The Meetings app includes a chat feature for conversations you don’t want to have with your entire meeting. You can chat with the host or any single participant – just tap the Users icon (second from right at the bottom of the meeting window)
- Simple Billing
No longer do you have to pay for an expensive videoconferencing service. US Office Enterprise accounts now include Meetings at no additional charge. (For a comprehensive breakdown of the features in each tier of Office, visit the Office Plans & Pricing page.)
- Ad-Hoc Scheduling
With Meetings, launching a new videoconference or joining one set up by a colleague requires nothing more than a couple taps or clicks. Starting a new videoconference will provide you with a unique meeting number – and you can then share this number from within the Meetings app via email or text message.
