RingCentral Recognizes Six Customers for Their Impact on Business and Community

Each year at ConnectCentral, the industry’s premier cloud communications and collaboration event, we have the opportunity to honor those companies whose achievements inspire us all. At this year’s show, we recognized companies that exemplify our goal to unite people, ideas, and business for a new era of work.

At ConnectCentral 2018, RingCentral Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Services, Ryan Azus, handed out a total of six Impact awards: five Business Impact awards and one People Impact award. This year’s five Business Impact award winners were recognized for leveraging RingCentral solutions to make a significant impact on their business and drive greater customer value.


The legendary Los Angeles–based clothing and retailing giant uses RingCentral to create a seamless, unified communications and collaboration experience across voice, video, and team messaging for its employees worldwide. Guess also partnered with RingCentral to train employees at the Guess headquarters, which led to a 255% year-over-year increase in the adoption rate for the RingCentral app.


Northwestern Mutual

Milwaukee-based financial services leader Northwestern Mutual faced strict financial security and compliance requirements when it sought to find a new communications solution. With RingCentral’s secure and flexible cloud communications solution, Northwestern not only met those regulatory requirements, but also reimagined its customer experience. Now, the company’s financial advisors are able to provide a more personalized planning experience for their customers, using voice, text, and video conferencing.


Pacific Dental Services

Based in Irvine, CA, Pacific Dental Services (PDS) is one of the country’s leading dental support organizations, with more than 670 supported offices in 20 states. PDS exemplifies how companies can drive digital transformation at scale with cloud communications technology. The company uses RingCentral to streamline communications across its offices with real-time messaging, task management, and collaboration. It’s also using RingCentral Meetings and Rooms to provide a consistent meeting experience, using high-definition video, audio, and web conferencing.



Chicago-based Insureon is an online insurance platform designed to help startups and small companies gain access to insurance products and rates previously available only to larger corporations. Using RingCentral’s open API platform, Insureon was able to integrate with third-party artificial intelligence apps to transcribe calls and provide automated agent assistance to optimize sales. The innovative solution resulted in an eye-popping 52% increase in customer conversion rates.



Los Angeles–based Belkin International, Inc. offers innovations that give consumer electronics users seamless integration in their homes, cars, and on the go. When the company sought that same seamless experience for its global communications, it deployed RingCentral Global Office and RingCentral Meetings to replace its siloed legacy on-premises PBX systems and unite its global workforce in North America, Asia, Europe, and Australia.

This year’s People Impact award recognized one company for leveraging RingCentral solutions to make a significant impact on its community.

Pro Football Hall of Fame

Based in Canton, OH, the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrines exceptional figures in professional football, including players, coaches, franchise owners, and front-office personnel. Using RingCentral Office and RingCentral Meetings, the Hall of Fame has been able to leverage our flexible and reliable communications solution to help build outreach programs that inspire youth to achieve greatness on and off the field, using the values of commitment, integrity, courage, respect, and excellence.
