Whether you’re scaling up, downsizing or relocating, moving comes with many different hassles. The phone system needn’t be one of them.
The need to set up new phone lines and telephone systems can add considerably to the costs of moving. There’s also the looming threat of business downtime during the time it takes to make the switch. Updating existing customers with the new number adds further to the time and effort. Then there’s the matter of changing the stationery!
Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just keep your existing phone number instead?
It is actually possible to continue using the same business landline number at a different location. Here are 2 options:
1) Have your phone number redirected. This will incur an ongoing fee and is therefore really not a long-term solution.
2) Operate your phone system via the cloud. With hosted business phone service like RingCentral Office, your existing number can be programmed to reach you wherever you move, with no diversion or additional set-up required.
So if you’re moving offices, a cloud phone system can at least give you one less thing to worry about.
