Our own Vlad Shmunis has been named a semifinalist in Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award for the Northern California region. vlad-shmunis

This isn’t the first time Ernst & Young has recognized Vlad as an entrepreneur of distinction: he was named a Finalist for the same award two years ago.

Past Entrepreneur of the Year national honorees include Jeff Bezos of Amazon, Michael Dell of Dell, Inc. and Herb Kelleher of Southwest Airlines.

In Vlad’s words, the award demonstrates RingCentral’s commitment to delivering success to companies large and small. “As an entrepreneur,” he says, “my mission has been to lower the barriers to starting a business by making business communication solutions more accessible to companies of all sizes.”

Finalists for the Northern California bracket will be named in May, and this year’s regional winners will be feted in San Francisco in late June.

Congratulations to Vlad, and to the entire RingCentral team for their contributions to the company’s success!
