With Thanksgiving just around the corner, our thoughts have turned recently to gratitude. This is the time of year to be mindful of gratitude – to express gratefulness for all that we have and to appreciate the people in our life. The video above is our employees’ thanks to you, our customers.

We at RingCentral are hugely appreciative of our customers. Without you, we wouldn’t be in business! It’s for this reason that we’re focusing intently on improving all facets of the RingCentral customer experience.

Our laser focus on serving customers takes two forms. Of course we scrutinize negative reviews and low customer-satisfaction scores to determine what we could do better. For either an individual or an organization, defining where improvement is needed is a huge part of getting better.

But it’s equally important to celebrate successes, for nothing sustains strong performance like positive reinforcement.

To that end, we are sharing customer kudos with everyone on our service team and publicly recognizing the team members who deliver on the promise of an awesome service experience. We’re leveraging Chatter – our internal collaboration platform – to share customer feedback instantaneously. And we have created a WOW Call Library – a collection of calls in which team members have demonstrated the kind of customer-centric behavior that we want to cultivate organization-wide.

These initiatives will help us provide better service each and every day. You could say we are expressing the gratitude we have for our customers through service – and we plan to keep doing it long after the holidays are over.

This quote by William Arthur Ward sums it up for me: “Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.”
