UC Today, the leading publication for unified communications<\/a> and collaboration, recently announced its 2021 UC Awards winners<\/a>. It\u2019s an honour for RingCentral to be named Best UC Platform and Best UCaaS Provider.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The past 18 months have been life-changing for everyone in one way or another. Everything we\u2019ve been through has challenged the way businesses think about work. How we connect as people, on a personal and on a professional level, has altered dramatically. It\u2019s likely there\u2019s no going back.<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s why we\u2019ve seen so much innovation coming from many different industries and companies of all sizes this past year. New technologies and ideas to help people feel like they can continue to do anything despite the restrictions in place.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Technology made it possible for practitioners to look after patients while protecting them. Big data and AI helped facilitate COVID-19 preparedness and controlled the spread of infection in several countries. Cloud applications<\/a> opened up lines of communication when we felt distant and helped keep employees and customers safe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Since deep into the pandemic, RingCentral adjusted its focus to consider more human factors in the way we connect, communicate and collaborate. Around the world, work and business have become more human-centric. Issues of mental health have taken more prominent positions in the dialogue. What it means to feel connected, to be productive, has been more closely scrutinised.<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s why we approach innovation with human potential in mind. We\u2019ve been lucky to support authorities in overcoming the spread of a deadly virus, enable an orchestra to perform their annual concert (virtually) and help communities receive and deliver essential orders to those most in need.<\/span><\/p>\n

Those experiences have driven and inspired us more than anything. <\/span>We\u2019re deeply grateful to be playing a role in enabling businesses to stay connected with their customers and their employees. We\u2019ve seen many of these businesses do incredible work over the past 18 months.<\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019re also<\/span> excited at the evolving potential of virtual communications and our fortunate position in that evolution. We\u2019re lucky that we have the most magnificent people on our team. Everyone, at all levels, in all departments, has contributed to our journey and makes us what we are.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is part of our teams\u2019 reward for their endless commitment and energy. We\u2019re immensely proud of those we work with; they deserve every accolade they get.<\/span><\/p>\n
