On April 26, three of our RingCentral female executive leaders were commemorated at the YWCA Silicon Valley Tribute to Women Awards gala in San Jose, CA. Each honoree was nominated by a senior executive for their contributions as leaders and role models in their companies and their communities. RingCentral honorees include:
Nominated for her significant contributions to growing the sales organization at RingCentral, Faiza began her RingCentral career seven years ago as a senior manager with a team of eight sales representatives. During her tenure, Faiza has made impressive strides by building, scaling, and operationalizing the sales development, business development, and sales engineering teams globally. Today, she has quadrupled her team and is now leading a global MASS market team of 200 employees across the US, UK, and Manila.
Faiza’s diligence and tenacity make her a recognized leader within the company. She has championed the internal “Lean in” group of female colleagues and is seen as a strong advocate for career development by her team. Outside of the office, Faiza works with various charities that provide battered women with job training and interview skills training, using her business prowess to help others find a journey to success. When asked how we can inspire the next generation of female leaders, Faiza’s response is: “Believe not only in yourself but in the possibilities. Treat every failure as a step closer to success, and know that in every adversity there is the potential to be pleasantly surprised.”
Lisa was nominated for her outstanding efforts in driving business results and building RingCentral’s website from the ground up. She is responsible for RingCentral’s web properties and corresponding business results, customer and user experience, development, product management, and operations. A 22-year industry veteran, Lisa has a strong track record of developing and implementing successful integrated marketing strategies, providing optimal customer experiences online, creating operational excellence, managing and motivating teams, and delivering top- and bottom-line results.
In her career, she has held executive roles in web marketing, building profitable online environments and eCommerce sites for top brands such as Scholastic, Banana Republic, Williams-Sonoma, and Intuit, as well as several start-ups. At RingCentral, Lisa has driven the company forward by building a solid infrastructure for RingCentral to create enhanced customer experiences and internal efficiencies. Her advice to women is: “Dream big, follow your passion, and express your point of view. Don’t be afraid to fail—you’ll learn along the way. Know that your impact can truly change the game.”
Lisa Del Real
Also a RingCentral employee for the past seven years, Lisa Del Real is a foundational contributor to the RingCentral Channel Partner Program and has directly influenced the revenue growth, global expansion, and operational and programmatic evolution of RingCentral. As a dedicated channel champion, she has helped scale the company’s partner program from zero to more than 4,000 actively transacting channel partners worldwide. One of Lisa’s biggest accomplishments is the RingCentral Channel Harmony Program, which establishes harmony between the direct sales organization and the channel sales organization. A unique approach, this award-winning program has been recognized as a major differentiator in the industry.
Lisa is committed to diversifying the workplace and creating professional pathways for success for her team. Lisa’s achievements have earned her over four years of recognition as CRN’s Women in the Channel and company-wide accolades. When asked about inspiring the next generation of female leaders, Lisa’s response is: “Don’t fit into the mold. It’s ok to buck the trends. Be yourself. Be your truth.”
