The Toll-Free SMS application is a simple Web application that enables you to send SMS from a Avaya Cloud Office Toll-Free number to multiple numbers at the click of a button. The To numbers can be inputted directly in the form or can be uploaded from a .csv file.
The application also shows the progress status of the messages as they are sent and provides a report with any delivery failure details if any.
This is a very handy application for organizations that wants to just use the Avaya Cloud Office Toll-Free number to send SMS without writing any code. This is also very useful for organizations who want to get a flavor of the Avaya Cloud Office Toll-Free SMS feature before they start building a custom application. Users can also provide feedback for any feature requests or enhancements directly from the App. Currently, you can send around 50K messages per day per number using this app.
Caution: Currently the Toll-Free SMS does not have an Opt-Out option baked in, so it has to be a manual default Opt-Out option provided by the respective end carrier network.
