Informacast Fusion for BT Cloud Work

InformaCast Fusion is a leading mass notification solution from Singlewire Software used in K12 schools, college and universities, enterprise businesses, healthcare facilities, manufacturing plants, and other environments across the country and around the world to enhance safety and communication. When a safety incident occurs, organizations need to be prepared to protect their most important asset: their people. Protecting people relies on strong communication practices that can be enabled with help from a mass notification system.

InformaCast Fusion is one of the only mass notification solutions available that utilizes a single platform to reach on-premises and mobile devices with critical safety messages. It allows organizations to prebuild and customize messages for any kind of incident that poses a threat to people’s safety. This could be configuring a lockdown message for an active shooter, an evacuation notice for a fire or chemical spill, and even alerts regarding severe weather that may impact ongoing operations. InformaCast Fusion offers unparalleled speed and reach for organizations to quickly get out messages that reach everyone with the information they need

to stay out of harm’s way.

The system can integrate with many technologies organizations already have in place, making it a low-cost option for enhancing safety. InformaCast can deliver messages to IP phones, IP speakers, desktop computers, digital signage, mobile devices and more as live or recorded audio, phone calls, emails, SMS text messages, push notification, pop-up alerts and other delivery methods to ensure that no one misses a message that impacts their safety. To help quickly get messages out, InformaCast offers a number of easy methods for triggering, including physical and virtual panic buttons, inbound emails, monitored RSS and CAP feeds, contact closures, speed dials, a mobile app and more. With InformaCast, FEMA-approved organizations can also utilize the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) for emergency communication. This functionality utilizes the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) to broadcast messages. This helps reach people who may not be connected to InformaCast still receive emergency communications. WEA can reach any cell phone within a geographic area, and EAS, allows users to set a screen crawl across TV screens for local TV stations. The goal is to provide organizations with the best possible options to reach everyone about critical emergency events. The more channels used, the more quickly the message gets out and people can begin taking action.

InformaCast also offers the ability to create groups and zones so certain messages only get sent to particular people or parts of a building or campus. For example, your organization can even configure InformaCast to send alerts when someone dials 911 within your building or campus. This may not require alerting everyone, just security personnel and upper-level administrators. Organizations can create a group to receive those types of messages. This same functionality can be used to only alert a specific floor or wing of a building. This minimizes panicking people who may not be in harm’s way, while still working towards the goal of reaching the right people with the right information at the right time. It also offers organizations options for ongoing incident management with integrations available for collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex Teams. Following a notification distribution, key stakeholders can be invited into a virtual space to assess emergency situations and determine an appropriate response. A similar functionality can also be accomplished by inviting people to join a conference call.

With the push of a button, InformaCast Fusion offers organizations the most complete speed and reach for mass notification that keep people safe during a crisis.
