About the Job
This is a great opportunity to work at a rapidly growing company that provides Voice-over-IP (VoIP), Hosted PBX, Voicemail, and Fax solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Grow and manage global teams of database engineers
- Develop and implement system level DB architecture, coordinate efforts in DB structure design and implementation, performance optimization and other development.
- Prioritize the engineering efforts to meet product and project schedules
- Create, track and update project schedule, communicate project status to the team members and to the management
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar.
- 5+ years of leading high performance DB team(s).
- Demonstrated experience in design and implementation of complex commercial system(s) on Oracle database.
- Proficient in using schema design tools such as ERwin, Enterprise Architect or similar.
- Proficient with Oracle database 10g, SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
- Proficient with Perl, Python, or an equivalent scripting language.
- Proficient with Java, C++ and OO concepts.
- Proficient with UNIX and Windows as a development and deployment platform.
- Experienced with SOAP and XML technologies.
- Experienced with source code control and database release processes.
- Excellent ability to learn systems and processes by reading code.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent self-starter.
- Bilingual in English/Russian.
