Software Engineer

Duties:

The individual will design, develop, troubleshoot and modify Web-based computer applications utilized in providing proprietary software applications products for use on the Internet. The individual will create an API to provide integration between the company and its clients. The individual will integrate third-party SOAP/XML-based Web services. The individual will utilize ASP, ASP.NET, Java servlets, Sruts/Struts2/Seam frameworks, JSP, JSP, JSTL/Velocity and Free Marker for server-side Web development. The individual will utilize HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML and JSON for client-side Web development. The individual will utilize Apace Axis, JAX-JWS and ASP.NET for SOAP development. The individual will be responsible for Java/DCOM interoperability including j-Interop. The individual will develop Apache, Tomcat and Microsoft IIS Web application server applications. The individual will be responsible for developing and implementing fraud protection measures. The individual employs diagnostic software in troubleshooting problems related to the technology, high-speed data communications and networking. The position also requires fluency in applicable computer languages, codes and commands.
