RingCentral Appoints Mike Kerr as Vice President of Operations; Distinguished Covad Executive to Spearhead Rapid Phase of Growth

 

SAN MATEO, Calif., Mar 06, 2006 – RingCentral, Inc., a key provider of on demand telecommunication services for small businesses and mobile executives, today announced the appointment of Mike Kerr to the position of vice president of operations. Mr. Kerr brings more than 25 years of senior management and technical expertise to RingCentral. His role in the company involves managing operations while developing a strategy for the company's future infrastructure to support its rapidly growing customer base.

Most recently, Mr. Kerr served in various executive management, sales and operations roles with Covad, a nationwide provider of integrated voice and data communications. Prior to Covad, Mr. Kerr spent 20 years in management positions at AirTouch Communications growing its many subsidiaries, leading operational activities and maintaining accountability for profits and losses in the U.S., Caribbean, Canada and Mexico. Additionally, he was responsible for building the network infrastructure in North America, as well as all U.S. satellite commercial operations.
