RingCentral Names Jay Blazensky Vice President of Business Development; Accomplished Telecom Industry Veteran to Drive RingCentral’s Partner Plans and Expansion Efforts.

 

SAN MATEO, Calif., June 06, 2006 – RingCentral, Inc., a key provider of on demand telecommunication services for small businesses and mobile workers, today announced the appointment of Jay Blazensky to the position of vice president of business development. Mr. Blazensky brings more than 23 years of telecom industry experience in business development, senior management and marketing to RingCentral. In his new role, Mr. Blazensky will lead RingCentral’s growth initiatives by establishing new channel partnerships and developing strategic relationships with industry players.

Mr. Blazensky joins RingCentral from Sylantro Systems, where he played an instrumental role in spearheading business development and strategic sales initiatives. While there, he managed the sales of carrier-grade VoIP service platforms to national telecom service providers, specifically targeting small and medium sized businesses and forged tactical alliances with leading companies to expand distribution channels. Prior to Sylantro, Mr. Blazensky held positions as the director of business development at Innomedia, an IP convergence solution, and the vice president of marketing and co-founder of Digicom Systems, a leader in communication systems integration. In both roles, he helped to pave the way for personal Internet telephony products, as well as introducing “soft modem” technology to the worldwide community of PC manufacturers.
