The B Factory Success Story - Multiple Extensions Feature

The "B" Factory, an online radio station, uses a number of extensions through a virtual PBX system, giving it the ability to have a phone system that suits its listeners on a level equivalent to any traditional radio station.

The service is provided by RingCentral. The various extensions direct callers depending on their needs to the appropriate party.

The system is also able to detect the number being forwarded, giving operators an idea about the nature of the call. For example, if the caller is recognized to be a label or an artist, the call is handled one way. If the caller is a listener, the call is handled differently.

This set up gives Wayne Waller, creator of the show, the maximum number of options, allowing him to address each call in the best possible manner.
