Call to Speak With Sales
How do you decide which among the many PBX phone systems is worth your trust and money? Consider different factors based on your business’s communication needs.
There are a lot of available PBX phone systems now, most of them online-based and priced significantly lower than traditional PBX services. Of course, these service providers will not provide the same services, in terms of quality, price and feature sets. How do you know which will work for your business? The first step is by evaluating your communication needs. From there, you can create a set of standards which you can use when you evaluate different pricing plans.
The basic features you need include call forwarding, voicemail and web management. It is best if you can get a complete phone system which also includes Internet fax, Microsoft integration and mobile apps. Especially if you are a mobile businessman and you need to take your communications with you, such features are highly advantageous for you.
And even if you do not see the need for features which you do not currently use, getting a phone system that comes complete with extra features can be more than worth how much you will pay them every month. As your business grows, you will find that you will need more features to help you manage calls and documents. A more important thing to make sure, however, is that the phone system is easy to use.
As you check different pricing plans from various service providers, evaluate your call activities. Based on the amount of time you need for calls, you can come up with a rough estimate of the number of minutes you need to spend in a month. Most pricing plans come with a specific number of minutes, from 10 to 500 and 1,000. The more minutes, the higher price you would have to pay a month. And if you go beyond the number of minutes allotted for you each month, you will have to pay by the minute.
Reliability is a highly important factor in subscribing to a phone system. No matter how many minutes you get for free or how many features are included in your phone service, if the connection fails and a conversation with a customer is cut short, then you risk your business losing a customer.
You can try out a PBX phone system by availing of their free trial. Usually lasting from a week to a month, this free trial will let you test drive a phone system and see if it works perfectly for your business. Beware, however, of service providers that promise free trial and then charge you days after you availed of the service. You should be able to decide whether or not you will continue with your service from whichever company you choose to try out for your business communications.
