What is RingCentral phone service? >>

Count on RingCentral to combine the convenience and savings of a VoIP (Voice over IP) service with RingCentral features.

RingCentral VoIP phone service works like traditional phone service, except that it uses your broadband Internet connection instead of traditional telephone lines.

What device options are available to use with my phone service? >>

Select from a range of professional devices that ship pre-configured for your system:

How much does VoIP phone service cost? >>

VoIP phone service is included at no additional charge for each user you add to your RingCentral Office plan.

Can I dial 911? >>

Yes. RingCentral provides enhanced 911 service.

Please note: Enhanced 911 will be unavailable during power outages or broadband service interruptions. Learn more about important differences between dialing 911 using a VoIP line versus standard phone service.

Do I have to have a RingCentral Office account? >>

Yes. RingCentral Office includes VoIP phone service at no additional charge.

Can I keep my existing phone and fax numbers? >>

How do I set up the IP phones? >>

Expect your phones and adapters to arrive from RingCentral within two to seven business days of your order. Simply plug your phone into a power outlet and connect your phone to your internet connection. Our IP phones are plug-and-play, so you can use them with any broadband Internet connection, or assign them to another extension online.

RingCentral provides Implementation Advisors for your first 30 days of service. An advisor assigned to your account will call you within your first three days of service and assist with configuring your system.

You can also download Softphone to your PC—it’s a free download, all you need is a headset—and you’ll be able to make and receive calls from your PC in minutes.

Can I select which Caller ID to display on outbound calls? >>

Yes. Use any phone number from your RingCentral account as your outbound Caller ID from any IP phone. You can even use your home or mobile phone number as your outbound Caller ID by adding them to your RingCentral account.

What type Internet connection do I need? >>

A solid Internet connection means solid voice quality. We recommend using a high-speed DSL, cable, or fiber optic connection with an upload speed of 90kbps or higher for each line or phone in one location. Learn more about Quality of Service (QoS).
