How does RingOut work? >>

Not only can you use RingOut to dial a number you see on a Web page, email or Word document, for example, but you can use it to return calls to clients by clicking on a logged phone number in your online account. To initiate RingOut—you can highlight a number and press a hotkey on your keyboard, click a number in your online account, or click RingOut from Softphone™ or Outlook®. Then a pop-up window appears with two drop-down lists. One is the number or name of the person or business you’re trying to reach and the other is a phone number you're using—in other words, your Current location. Click Call. When your phone rings, you pick it up a voice prompt will say, “Hello, to connect this call, press 1.”

What are the benefits of using RingOut? >>

RingOut speeds up dialing and strengthens communication because you don’t need to write down any numbers or dial them. It is particularly handy for anyone who makes a lot of calls during the day. And RingOut is excellent for those who make international calls—especially because it eliminates misdials.

Can I click-to-call my Outlook contacts from Outlook? >>

Yes. RingCentral is integrated with Microsoft® Office and RingOut appears on your Outlook toolbar. Simply click RingOut from Outlook and connect to your contacts instantly.

Can RingOut dial international numbers? >>

Yes. You can eliminate misdials by having RingOut dial your number for you and connect you to an international number. Keep in mind that using RingOut click-to-call dialing can actually save you money if you’re traveling abroad and calling from a hotel. For instance, initiating RingOut actually places an inbound call to your phone, so you are charged for an inbound rather than an outbound call.
