  • Call screening software

RingCentral features advanced phone call screening which does more than displaying the name and phone number of the caller. With the exclusive desktop call screening component called Call Controller, not only will you be able to see who’s calling you, but you can also control the call as it waits for your action. As a caller dials your number and hears the auto-attendant answer their call, the Call Controller will give you options on how you can handle the call by displaying a pop up window. You can take the call, reject it or send it straight to voicemail. Not only that, but you can also input a text-to-speech message to your caller, which will be read by the auto-attendant to the caller. This lets you attend to the caller without having to converse with them, saving you time and effort in answering calls. And when you are on the road, you can simply activate the auto-attendant to ask for the callers’ names automatically, so that you can listen to them even right on your cell phone. The auto-attendant would then prompt you to choose to answer the call or send it to voicemail. Should you decide to answer the call, it will automatically be logged into your online call log and will be billed under RingCentral and not on your personal cell phone number. Highly helpful to busy small business owners, the call screening feature enhances your customer service and at the same time improves the efficiency of your business communications. You can manage your time well with the ability to identify callers properly before deciding if you should take the call or let the caller leave a voicemail for you to listen to and address at a more convenient time.

Manage calls better with the RingCentral caller screening feature. Identify callers even before you answer the phone, and communicate with them even without actually picking up. The comprehensive and advanced caller screening by RingCentral gives you convenient answering option which you can use to maintain a professional image to customers and business partners even without having to actually answer the call. When you are online, the RingCentral Call Controller will display a pop up window on your screen when there is an incoming call. You can view the name and the number of the caller, as well as the options that you have in handling the call. You may answer the call and start talking to them right on your computer, you may reject it so that the caller will hear a busy signal, or you can send it straight to voicemail to allow them to leave you a message which you can access through your online account. Aside from these basic options, you can also listen in as the caller leaves a voicemail message. You can pick up even as the caller leaves a message, should you decide that their concern is urgent and important. You can also choose the auto-attendant to read a text-to-speech reply that you type into the Call Controller. This gives you a way to still communicate with callers even though you are unavailable to actually converse with them. And even if you are on the road on your mobile phone, the caller screening feature will still work. You simply have to set the auto-attendant to ask for the caller’s name, and you can listen in through your mobile phone. This gives you more freedom in handling calls, especially if you are a small business owner who singlehandedly manages all your business communications.

RingCentral features advanced call screening features which you can access online and through Call Controller, the patented desktop dashboard exclusive to RingCentral subscribers. As soon as you sign up for RingCentral, you will automatically get the call screening software which comes in the RingCentral Call Controller. It is easy to use, and has intelligent functions which make sure that you can manage your calls well. Highly beneficial to small business owners without dedicated customer service representatives, the RingCentral call screening software gives you advanced capabilities which are convenient both to you and your callers. As soon as a call comes in, you will be informed by the Call Controller that there is a caller waiting on the line by displaying a pop up window which includes the phone number of the caller. If the number is already stored in your Outlook phone book or in your RingCentral contacts list, the name of the caller will also be displayed. You can then choose to answer the call, reject it or send it to voicemail. If the number is unknown and you do not want to answer the phone, you can command the auto-attendant to ask for the caller’s name. You will hear the caller through your PC, after which you can decide what to do with the incoming call. And if you send the caller to voicemail, you can also listen in as they leave you a message. If you find that the matter is urgent and highly important, you can pick up the phone even while the caller is leaving you a voicemail message. This way, you are able to prioritize the more important matters over the ones which can wait. With the call screening software from RingCentral, you can be sure of a reliable and efficient call management platform which will suit your business right now and as it grows.

Call screening FAQs VoIP Phone Call Screening Service

VoIP Phone Call Screening Service

How does RingCentral Call Screening differ from Caller ID? >>

RingCentral is the only communications service provider that offers a desktop call screening component called Call Controller, which not only lets you see who’s calling you, but also allows you to “control” the call in real time. What that means is that while the caller holds for you, the Call Controller pop-up tool gives you clickable options: take the call, reject it, send it to voicemail or send a text-to-speech reply. This last option lets you type a message in your Call Controller tool then hit Send, at which point an "auto-attendant" translates the text to speech and broadcasts it to the caller.

You can also hear callers’ names. When you set up your system so that callers are prompted to state their names before the call is transferred to you, those names will be broadcast to you through your computer speakers or your telephone. When you know who’s calling you, and then are given flexible options to handle the call, you can better manage your time.

If I’m on the road with my cell phone, how will I know who’s calling me? >>

When you set up your system so that callers are prompted to state their names, those names will be broadcast to you over the telephone. At that point, the auto-attendant gives you options that you can select by pressing a key on your phone: take the call, reject it or send it to voicemail.

How does call screening work when I’m online? >>

When you’re online and you receive a call or fax to your RingCentral number, the patented RingCentral Call Controller tool will pop up on your computer screen. Call Controller identifies the caller for you and gives you a list of clickable options: accept the call, reject it, send it to voicemail or reply—which means that you can type a reply and have that translated to speech then broadcast to the caller. When you set up your system so that callers are prompted to state their names, those names will be broadcast to you through your PC speakers or through your telephone.
