What is the RingCentral “No Hardware” Contest?
What’s the one piece of hardware that drives you crazy? Whether it’s a PBX, printer, server, router, or other piece of hardware, we want to know! Create a 1-2 minute video telling us why it’s such a hassle and, by doing so, you’ll have the chance to win a trip for two to Las Vegas!
Be as creative as you like with your video! Sing a song, recite a poem, or simply look into the video camera and tell us.
When does the contest start and end?
The RingCentral “No Hardware” Video Contest starts at 12:01 am Pacific Time (PT) on June 23, 2011 and ends at 11:59 pm Pacific Time (PT) on August 8, 2011.Videos will be accepted until August 5, 2011 at 5:00pm Pacific Time (PT). All winners will be announced on August 10, 2011 at approximately 5:00pm Pacific Time (PT) on our Facebook page.
How do I enter?
Create a 1 to 2 minute video and post it to your YouTube account. Add the tag “RingCentral No Hardware” in the title and video tags. Be sure to complete the No Hardware Video Contest Entry Form.
After that, share your video on your blog, Facebook page, Twitter, and YouTube channels to increase the number of views your video receives.
What should I describe in the video?
Share your story about a piece of hardware that drives you crazy. Be creative! Make sure to describe how your most annoying piece of hardware affects you and your work. Whether it repeatedly breaks, is too complicated to figure out, or just consistently causes you headaches, we want to know!
How do I let you know that I’ve uploaded my video to be entered in the contest?
Let us know of your submission by posting your video on our Facebook page or by tweeting us @RingCentral using the hashtag #NoHardware.
How should I promote my video?
After submitting your video, spread the word! Share your video on your blog, Facebook page, Twitter, YouTube accounts and any other way you want to get the word out and increase the number of views your video receives.
Who can enter the contest?
The contest is open to all legal U.S. residents, ages 21 and older.
Can I submit more than one video?
Only one video per contestant will be accepted.
How do you choose the winning video?
RingCentral will select the Grand Prize winner and the two runners up from the top ten (10) most viewed videos based on the number of views on each YouTube page.
What are the prizes?
One (1) Grand Prize winner will win a 4-day trip to Las Vegas for two including airfare, 4-star hotel, and a $500 LasVegas.com gift card, which can be used for a variety of entertainment options. The second place winner will receive $500 in cash, and the third place winner will receive $250 in cash. All contestants will receive a credit for a month off RingCentral service.
