RingCentral® Equipment Return Policy

You may terminate your RingCentral service for any reason at any time without any early service termination fees in accordance with RingCentral’s Terms of Service. Upon termination of your service, you also have the option of either retaining or returning the phones and other telecommunications equipment you purchased from RingCentral in accordance with this Equipment Return Policy.

Keeping Your Equipment; Equipment Recovery Fee

Upon termination of your RingCentral service, you are always to welcome to keep all of the phones and other telecommunications equipment that you either purchased from RingCentral or that RingCentral provided to you, subject to payment of an Equipment Recovery Fee that is 100% of the discount* amount. This Equipment Recovery Fee is being assessed by RingCentral to recoup some of equipment discounts and subsidies (“discount amount”) made available to you when you originally subscribed for the RingCentral service.

After one (1) year of continuous subscription to RingCentral service, no Equipment Recovery Fee shall apply.

Returning Your Equipment; Equipment Restocking Fee

Upon termination of your RingCentral service within the first year of service, you have the option to return all phones and other telecommunications equipment that you either purchased from RingCentral or that RingCentral provided to you, subject to payment of the Equipment Restocking Fee that is 100% of the discount* amount. This Equipment Restocking Fee is being assessed by RingCentral to recoup some of the equipment discounts and subsidies made available to you when you originally subscribed for the RingCentral service.

Please note that if you return your merchandise, even by mistake, more than ninety (90) days after your purchase, you will be subject to the applicable Equipment Restocking Fee set forth above.

All equipment must be fully functional, include all components, manuals, peripheral devices and all other accessories that were originally shipped with the device. At our discretion, we may decline your return equipment or charge you an additional fee of $30 for any missing items, or for any items that we determine are damaged or not in good working condition.

We do not accept returns on phones and/or equipment more than one (1) year after the date of purchase. You agree to pay all shipping and handling charges related to any such equipment returns.

Before returning any product that has data in its memory, please transfer all files you wish to retain to another file source. Once the product is returned, your files cannot be recovered and we assume no liability and you release us of any liability for any lost files, data or other information.

*Discount amount is the list price minus the actual price paid for the phone/equipment (not list price), excluding all appropriate taxes. For example, if the list price of a phone is $129.99 and you purchased the phone from RingCentral for $89.99, the discount amount is $40.
